Riverside Cafe, Kefalos, Greece
I have to admit I try and avoid bars/restaurants that only have a 'British' menu whilst abroad, anyone who goes to Burger chain should be shot (though not literally) but after 5 days eating some nice local cuisine, and reading good reviews of the place I thought I'd go back to basics just for the day.
Opted for the 'Special' Cheeseburger, basically the normal with bacon and egg (bleugh, no thanks!) the Burger though nothing huge was very tasty, nice big chips, salad including those big fat Mediterranean tomatoes, with a large ice cold beer for under €10, not bad.
The only negative would be the location, its bang on the main Kefalos road with traffic wizzing past you quite often, Roadside Cafe would be more apt!
Food 4/5
Service 4/5
Value 4/5
Overall 4/5

Hippocrates, Kefalos, Greece
After reading good online reviews I had to give this place a go and it was so good I came back the following night.
Served by a lovely friendly (Canadian?) waitress, I ordered the Chicken Bacon Souvlaki and a bottle of wine, we were then served, for free, a delicious fresh Greek salad and bread.
The main meal was delicious, chicken wrapped in tasty Bacon, with tzachiki, chips, rice...so filling!
Then to finish you off they throw in a free pudding to share, I swear if I'd eaten here first night I would be going home looking like the Michelin man
