Jimmys Place, Laganos, Zante, Greece

Got given a 10% discount card the previous evening and read many favorable reviews so popped in the following evening.

Couldn't resist the Gyros plate for €7 and wasn't disappointed with the food served up in another Laganos restaurant. Not a massive plate of food but one which was more filling than it looked, very tasty and nice friendly service from Jimmy and the rest of the staff.

Seaside, The Beach, Laganas, Zante, Greece

As the name suggests this eatery is bang on the seafront, in fact less than 20 metres from the shore.

Highly recommended by online reviews so I went in with high expectations.

Opted for the grilled Sword Fish at just under 10E and wasn't disappointed, tender fish, nice fresh salad, tzatski and crispy roast potato medallions, also a piping hot pita with tzatski was served up free of charge as a starter which was a nice touch.

Service was fair, once you got the food no one asked if you wanted any condiments, or whether the food was ok, but this is a minor niggle for an excellent restaurant.

The Sizzlebang Grill, Kalamaki Road, Laganas

Popped in after reading the complimentary reviews on Trip Advisor and went for one of my favourites Chicken Gyros for just under seven Euro's.

Food was in front of my nose in no time, piping hot and a nice looking plate full. Crispy slightly chunky chips, fresh salad, tzatski, loads of tasty chicken, and great value.

Only small minus point was gambling with the House white wine which was rather hideous, other than that a top draw meal and great value for money all round.

Panos,Kalamaki Road, Laganos, Greece

Good reviews on Trip Advisor meant a visit especially as it was a stones throw from our Hotel. It had to be a Greek meal so I went for the Chicken Soyvlaki at just under 7 Euro's.

It's mid September and the Season is drawing to a close but this place was filling up nicely with a wide variety of folks, single friends, couples etc which is always a good sign, and when the food arrived I could see and smell why.

Three skewers of beautifully cooked Chicken accompanied by Tzatski, chips, salad, pita bread, piping hot, very tasty and incredibly filling.

Service was very friendly without being over-baring, and we were treated to a huge dish of tasty watermelon for free at the end.

Highly recommended!!
